All of humanity is made of the same materials as stardust: hydrogen, oxygen, silica, carbon. This persistence of certain core materials parallels the persistence of Black spiritual traditions, even as the “Black Church” looks different than it did 50 years ago. Regardless of what shape it takes, Black practices will live on.
